OREANDA-NEWS. May 7, 2010. Belarus’ output of soft drinks rose 1.6% year-on-year in January-March 2010 to 92.3 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), the National Statistics Committee said in a statement.

In volume terms, soft drink output reached 5,300 decaliters, up 5.1% on the year in the first quarter, and mineral water output was at 72.1 million half-liters, down 2.5%. Drinking water production amounted to 2.033 million decaliters, up 12.4%.

Inventories of soft drinks were at 1.4 million decaliters as of April 1, 2010, 80.5% of the average monthly output, or 21.9 billion rubles in value terms.
