OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2010. The cyclone which has raged on May 6th with heavy rain and wind could not sadden pleasure of Primorsky pilots — this day Vladivostok Air fleet has replenished with two aircrafts: Airbus A320 and Airbus A330-300.

As the general director of OJSC Vladivostok Air, the Honoured pilot of Russia Vladimir Saibel has declared at the ticker-tape welcome: "Acquisition of these modern airliners on the eve of 65-year-old anniversary of the Victory Day is not only momentous event for the airline, but also consecutive realization of the strategic plan of the airline fleet updating with a view of satisfaction of Far Eastern consumers demand in the airline traffic. These facts represent confident and forward development of Vladivostok Air at the aviation market of Russia".

The representative of popular European family of medium-ranged liners Airbus A320 under control of the crew led by instructor pilot Michael Katrushenkov and commander Jury Sysoyev has made landing on the Primorsky territory at 11: 20, having arrived to Vladivostok from Madrid (Spain) with intermediate landing for refuelling in Kazakhstan.

Long-ranged wide-bodied Airbus A330-300 under control of the strengthened flight crew led by commander Artem Ipatev has executed direct nonstop flight from Irish Shannon to Vladivostok, having made landing at 15:30. Flight has being proceeded 12 hours and 50 minutes.

Vladivostok Air A330 is equipped by 24 places of a business class and 303 places of an economy class. Business class reclining seats are specially adapted for long flights and located in salon in a configuration 2-2-2. Economy class seats onboard of A330-300 are located under the scheme 2-4-2. Passengers of an economy class also can take have pleasant rest during the flight, new seats have ergonomic design and the increased space for feet.

Passengers of all classes can take advantage of system of video and audio-entertainments onboard of А330. Also during the whole flight passengers are offered fresh periodicals and newspapers, soft drinks and hot meals.

Soon new Vladivostok Air aircrafts will start to make regular passenger flights within the Far-Eastern region, to the western regions of Russia and to popular tourist directions of Asian-Pacific region.
