OREANDA-NEWS. On July 8-9, 2010 the FAS Russia will host the Russia-U.S. Judicial Training on enforcement of antimonopoly legislation that is organized by the FAS Russia in association with the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The Judicial Training will be a good chance for participants to get acquainted with practice of antimonopoly legislation enforcement in Russia and the U.S. and will enable the participants to discuss key problems arising at courts during the consideration of the antimonopoly cases.

Famous American judges with a great experience have been invited to participate in the Judicial Training.

Working languages of the Training are Russian and English. The simultaneous translation is secured.

Registration fee is not envisaged.

We would like to invite to participate it the Training and, if one wants, to be a speaker (a 15- 30-minute report) on issues of enforcement of antimonopoly legislation arising at courts when antimonopoly cases are considered.

The proposed topics to be discussed are as follows:

1. Types of evidence in the abuse of dominance in the market cases;

2. Issues arising during the trial of the cases on anti-competition agreements and concerted actions;

3. Finding administrative offences in the sphere of competition legislation insignificant and exempting the offender from liability;

4. Distinctive grounds for finding the acts of the anti-monopoly agency invalid;

5. Determing the size of the damage caused by the violation;

6. Determing the fact of concerted actions;

7. The sentencing (circumstances affecting the severity of sanctions).

8. Determing the size of the income obtained as the result of the violation of the anti-monopoly legislation.

The Training will take place in the FAS Russia on July 8-9, 2010, FAS Board Hall, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the address: 11, Sadovaya Kudrinskaya, Moscow, 123995.
