OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2010. This is provided by memorandum on implementation of overall program to strengthen the institutional capacity of Moldova, which was signed in Chisinau on Saturday by the Prime Minister of Moldova Vladimir Filat and the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule.

The abovementioned program provides equipment, technical assistance, training and research programs, exchange of experience and specialists between the relevant agencies of Moldova and EU. As Vladimir Filat noted, the program in Moldova will be benefited by the following agencies: State Chancellery, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the General Inspectorate for Phyto-Sanitary Inspection, the National Agency for Protection of Competition, Public Procurement Agency, the Agency for Intellectual Property Protection, the Center for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption, the General Prosecutor’s Office.

As the Moldovan Prime Minister has specified, the program will allow transforming the Moldovan agencies into European institutions so that the process of Europeanization of Moldova became visible. The commissioner said that this program is a small part of total EU commitments to support Moldova.
