OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2010. The manufacturing corporation Belorusneft has expanded the geography of cooperation with Russian oil companies. According to the agreements Belorusneft and Muravlenkovskneft (a structural subdivision of Gazprom Neft NNG) have reached, four teams of Belarusian specialists started major overhaul of oil wells at the Vyngayakhinskoye oil field, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, in May.

Gazprom Neft is the second major company with which Belorusneft has signed an agreement to provide oil industry services in Western Siberia. Over the last three years Belorusneft has been successfully developing cooperation with RN-Purneftegaz, a major oil extracting enterprise of Rosneft company.

Located in the town of Gubkinsk, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, Belorusneft’s unit includes five teams for drilling offshoots, ten teams for well overhauls, a backfill team, a transport unit, and auxiliary services. The number of employees is as large as 700 people.

This year the enterprise plans to increase the number of offshoot drilling teams up to six and the number of well overhaul teams up to 15. This year the manufacturing capacities and personnel should be handed over to Belorusneft-Sibir company. The latter was set up in Russia by Belorusneft.

Founded in 1966, the manufacturing corporation Belorusneft is part of Belneftekhim concern. The company performs oil exploration, well drilling, extraction of oil and associated gas.
