OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2010. Net loss of Yenisei River Shipping Joint Stock Company (YRS OJSC) for the 1st quarter of 2010 under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) declined less than 1%, to 169.35 million rubles. YRS’s quarter revenue amounted to 20.316 million rubles, a 6.2% rise over Q1, 2009, the Company statement said.

In 2009 the YRS’s net income of 162.476 million was 24.2% up from a year earlier. Revenues for 2009 shrank by 5.7% year-over-year, to 2 billion 424.451 thousand rubles.

Yenisei River Shipping OJS Company during last year’s navigation carried about 3.4 million tons of cargo. The last year’s major traffic volume was the cargo of Norilsk Nickel. Norilsk Nickel holds a 43.92-percent stake in YRS OJC (51.91% of common stock), the Federal Agency for Federal Property Management owns 25.5% of stock (32.28% common stock).
