OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2010. KITEL - the International Central Asian Exhibition for Telecommunications, Computer and Information Technologies - has long been an important event in the telecommunications market.

In 2010, KITEL will take on a new format. Alongside the exhibition, the organisers plan to hold SES-KITEL2010, a telecoms and IT conference. In the past, Iteca, the organiser of the event, organised various conferences which focused on banking, satellite technology and digital TV.

The SES-KITEL2010 conference will include international experts from the Top 10 Enterprise Resource Planning Software Leaders in 2009 and Top 20 Enterprise Software Leaders 2009 lists; directors and experts from international and national IT skills centres; leading international and domestic manufacturers and suppliers of software - for whom the Kazakhstan market is of great interest; and representatives of relevant professional and IT associations and organisations. The event promises to be extensive and serious. The programme will include talks by several notable persons in the field of IT.

KITEL, which is housed in Pavilion 9A of the Atakent Exhibition Centre in Almaty, will take place on 27-30 May. SES-KITEL2010 will be held on 26 May in the conference halls of the Bakshasaray Reception House.

The exhibition space will be shared by companies from 9 countries: UK, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, China, Lithuania, Russia, USA and South Korea. The specialised seminars and presentations included in KITEL’s business programme will, according to the organisers, be very useful not only to trade visitors, but also the companies involved. As a gift, each visitor to KITEL will receive a card with pin code, which will activate the new version of Dr.WEB Security Space. The gift is provided by the partner of the exhibition, Dr.WEB.

The KITEL 2010 exhibition and conference are officially supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan, Almaty City Administration, KazakhTelecom, Association of Radio and TV Broadcasters of Kazakhstan, Association of IT Companies of Kazakhstan, and Trade Representation of the Russian Federation to Kazakhstan.
