OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2010. Electronic Trade Community (ETC), a company incorporated in OAO ARMADA (MICEX, RTS: ARMD) has announced completion of the deployment of an automated state order system in the central headquarters of the Federal Tax Service of Russia.

The project’s main aim was to create and implement an e-procurement system featuring the entire functionality needed for the central staff of the Federal Tax Service to perform activities involved in planning, preparing, placing orders, conducting procurement operations and maintaining the registry of government contracts.

Under the project, ETC designed and launched into operational testing the Government Contract Planning, Placement, Execution and Registry Maintenance modules. The state-of-the-art system will be further perfected and developed in 2010.

Established over 10 years ago, ETC is currently Russia’s leading software developer offering e-procurement solutions for the public sector. The company’s clients include Russia’s Agriculture Ministry, Finance Ministry, Federal Tax Service, Foreign Affairs Ministry, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Republic of Bashkortostan, Sakha (Yakutia) Republic, as well as the Belgorod, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Voronezh, Novgorod, Saratov, Penza and Perm regions, and Maritime Territory (Primorye), along with upwards of 200 municipalities.
