OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2010. Supply of Mitsubishi Gas Turbine and Generator to Krasnodarskaya CHP (The Project Conducted by E4-SibCOTES).

At present Mitsubishi gas turbine and generator are being supplied to the construction site within the framework of Krasnodarskaya CHP plant expansion project. The design engineering is developed by E4-SibCOTES, being part of E4 Group. E4 Group is the EPC contractor. LUKOIL is the Customer.

On the 24th of May, 2010 the equipment will be reloaded from the barge to the overland transport at the loading berth specially constructed for this type of works.
E4 Group supplies Mitsubishi gas turbine, generator and necessary auxiliary equipment directly from Japan. At the beginning the oversized cargo (the gas turbine consists of three parts and the generator is made of two parts) arrived by Beluga ship to Novorossiysk.

There the cargo passed through customs clearance. After that the auxiliary equipment was unloaded to the shore where it was transported to the construction site of Krasnodarskaya CHP plant. The turbine and generator continued their trip to Temryuk port located on Kuban river bank. The gas turbine and generator will be reloaded to the barge in Temryuk port and transported by Kuban River to the place where the equipment will be unloaded to the specialized overland transport means. The works on equipment acceptance will start on the 24th of May, 2010.

According to the work schedule Mitsubishi equipment will be delivered to the construction site of Krasnodarskaya CHP plant on the 28th of May, 2010. After that it will be assembled.

Krasnodarskaya CHP expansion project will enjoy the most advanced and state-of-the art equipment produced by leading international manufacturers and characterized by the high level of reliability, efficiency, improved operating and environmental performance.   The gas turbine combined cycle plant consists of a 303.4 MW gas turbine, M701F4 type, manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, a gas turbine generator with hydrogen cooling manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric, a 140 MW steam extraction turbine manufactured by Ural Turbine Works, a steam turbine generator with air cooling manufactured by Elsib, a heat recovery steam generator supplied by EMAlliance.

Krasnodarskaya CHP plant expansion with GTCC-410 construction is designed to meet the needs of Krasnodarsky region in electricity and heat supply in consideration of economic growth rates, resort sector development and preparation for the Olympic Games in 2014. The installation of modern equipment will allow the CHP plant to reduce environmental impact and decrease greenhouse gases emission that is especially important for the resort place.
