OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2010. Klaipeda State Seaport Authority together with 6 port companies attended 8th international transport exhibition and conference “TransBaltica 2010“ which was held in Lithuanian Exhibition and Convention Centre “Litexpo“ (Laisves ave. 5, Vilnius), reported the press-centre of Klaipeda Port.
 
The new theme and accent of the exhibition and conference “TransBaltica 2010“ which is organized every two years already since 1995 – intellectual transport systems which help to rationally manage transport infrastructure and logistics, solve traffic congestion, pollution minimization, traffic safety, transport safety, public transport organization, real-time assurance and other issues.

This year the exhibition, attended by 54 companies from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belgium, Austria, Germany, France, Kazakhstan, presented: intellectual transport systems; management and control of traffic and public transport; navigations and geographic information systems (GIS); E-Management systems of vehicles, transport and logistics services; motorways, fuel and car service stations; spare parts, equipment; operation materials; cargo transportation; passenger transportation; cargo handling, warehousing, terminals and warehouses.
 
This year, 6 port companies participated in the “TransBaltica 2010“ exhibition at the joint stand of the port (area 36 m2): SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority, AB Klaipeda Stevedoring Company (KLASCO), Klaipeda Stevedoring Company “Bega“, UAB “Vakaru krova“, UAB “VPA Logistics“, UAB “MABRE LPC“, which presented achievements in cargo transit, logistics, transport safety and infrastructure development.
 
At the present exhibition, the Seaport Authority was represented by the Chief Marketing Specialist of the Marketing Department Silvija Jonkuviene and Marketing Specialist Jurga Daujotiene.
