OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2010. We are hereby letting you know that from June 14, 2010 there will be changes to Nordea’s private and corporate customer price lists; payments within the EU will become cheaper for private and corporate customers and the Private Customer Programme will offer access to a more favourable pricing regime. Nordea Gold customers will be benefiting from the best payment conditions and other product/service conditions in the market, reported the press-centre of Nordea.

Below, we will highlight the most important changes to the price list, the full overview of the changes can be found in the attached price list.

Payments within Estonia
For our private and corporate customers, payments within Nordea (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) will continue to be free of charge. In addition, from June 14, 2010, both private and corporate customers will benefit from EU-payments being treated as domestic.
Private customers may choose between different online banking packages and join the Nordea Customer Programme to enjoy the corresponding benefits; a Gold customer (and his/her family) will get 50% reduction on all the prices.

1) Internet bank package with a monthly fee
With this package you will have unlimited number of free payments within Nordea, as well as free domestic and EU payments to other banks. You only have to pay EEK 20 per month as management fee. A Gold customer will pay 50% less.

2) Internet bank package without a monthly fee
With this package you will have unlimited number of free payments within Nordea; a domestic payment to another bank will cost EEK 6, for a Gold customer EEK 3.
In addition you may benefit from Nordea Customer Programme reductions to the prices.

For corporate clients using our corporate netbank, domestic payments will continue to cost EEK 6, a payment within a Nordea affiliate (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) will remain free of charge. We offer a number of other e-solutions for companies and their pricing remains unchanged. To large companies, we offer personalised solutions with different products and services.

EU-payments:
Already from June 14, 2010 Nordea will treat all EU-payments as domestic (the official requirement to do so appears only from the date of the adoption of the euro), making a large share of current foreign payments cheaper for our customers.

An EU-payment will cost EEK 6, instead of the current EEK 30; Nordea Gold customers benefit from a 50% reduction, thus reducing the price threefold – to EEK 3.

Cross-utilisation of bank cards
For both private and corporate customers, Nordea will, from June 14, equate the prices for cash withdrawal from ATMs belonging to other banks in Estonia and in the EMU countries, thus making withdrawals cheaper for Nordea customers.

Nordea Bank’s debit cards allow for cash withdrawals from other banks’ ATMs in Estonia and in the EMU countries with the fixed rate of EEK 20 per withdrawal; in other foreign countries, the fee will remain at EEK 30 + 2,5% of the withdrawn amount. Cash withdrawals from all Nordea Group ATMs in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark will remain free of charge.

Nordea/Sampo joint ATM network currently includes 100 machines and it is planned to extend it to those towns where there currently is no Nordea/Sampo ATM within this year.

From June 14, 2010 Nordea Bank’s base interest rate for credit cards is 22%. Customer Programme reductions apply. For Gold customers, Nordea has a number of best offers in the market.
