The cost of the gasoline Ai-1995 fell by 0.4 leis - from 14,2 up to 13,8 leis per liter (USD 1.08), the price of the diesel fuel - by 0.3 leis - from 12,5 up to 12,2 leis per liter (USD 0,96). The last price decrease was registered on May 17, when the gasoline prices have fallen by 0.2 leis (1.4%).

The experts explain this decline by the fact that Moldovan importers are trying to respond to the global dynamics of oil and petroleum products prices. According to InfoMarket, from the beginning of the year, the price of the gasoline in Moldova grew by 15.97% and the cost of the diesel fuel – by 15.01%, respectively.

On January 4, the prices have grown by average 7%: the cost of gasoline Ai-95 grew by 0.8 leis (6,7%) - from 11,9 up to 12,7 leis per liter, the price of the diesel fuel - by 0.8 leis (7,5 %) - from 10,6 up to 11,4 leis per liter. On February 10, the prices have increased by about 8%: the price of the gasoline- by 1 leu - from 12.65 up to 13.65 lei (Ai-95) and the cost of the diesel fuel - by 0.8 leis - from 11.35 up to 12.15 leis.

On March 22, the price of the gasoline has increased by 0,25 leis (2%)- up 13.9 leis per liter, while the cost of the diesel fuel has not changed. On April 17, the price of the gasoline has increased by 14,4 leis; and the cost of the diesel fuel - up to 12.5 leis. On May 17, the gasoline price has reduced up 14.2 leis per liter, while the cost of the diesel fuel did not change.
