OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2010. Moscow Domodedovo Airport is glad to announce a new service effective from May 19 2010 of its partner airline Transaero to Kostanay in the North of Kazakhstan operated by Boeing 737 for the first time in the airline’s history.

Being a unique destination for Moscow Aviation Hub the service to Kostanay will be resumed from Domodedovo airport after a two-years break. Kostanay extends the list of the cities where Domodedovo partner airlines operate flights to and becomes the 8th destination of Transaero from Domodedovo to Kazakhstan.

There are 11 destinations currently available from Moscow to Kazakhstan, which is the highest rate of destinations to a country.

Domodedovo has been a base-airport for Transaero since 2001 and its share in total passenger volume of Moscow Domodedovo Airport makes 25%.

At the moment 74 partner airlines (46 foreign including 11 representing the CIS States and 28 Russian) connecting over 223 destinations operate flights all over the world.
