OREANDA-NEWS. June 02, 2010. ZAO PeterStar – a leader of the market of telecommunication services in the Northwest Region, being part of the Synterra group of Companies – has become a winner of the auction on communication service provision in the interests of the Prosecutor’s Office of Saint Petersburg, reported the press-centre of PeterStar.

Pursuant to the terms of the state order the carrier will integrate 20 district subdivisions and the central office of the city’s Prosecutor’s Office by means of a VPN network allowing broadband Internet access.

It should be mentioned that the auction on communication service provision in the interests of the Prosecutor’s Office of Saint Petersburg took place on the electronic site – the Sberbank Automated Trading System (Sberbank-AST). Based on the results of the bidding the PeterStar Company became a winner, and the amount of contract came to RUR1.3m.

Also remember that in addition to this contract at the end of January 2010 PeterStar’s parent company Synterra, a national carrier, won the competition on VPN network implementation for the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation.
