OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2010. An extra 8 billion roubles (~USD 266.7 million) have been allocated for road construction in Moscow in the second half of 2010.

According to Vladimir Resin, first deputy mayor of Moscow, it was originally allocated 37 billion roubles (~USD 1.23 billion) for road construction in 2010. However, city authorities have decided to increase funding by 8 billion roubles in the second half of the year.

The official added that all the necessary documents for road construction in Moscow had been processed. “That means we [the Moscow developers] will be able to obtain more funding to build roads in Moscow, up to 120-150 billion roubles (~USD 4 - 5 billion) per year,” Mr Resin said at a press conference.
