OREANDA-NEWS. June 08, 2010. The Azerbaijani parliament has ratified the agreement which was  signed on promotion and protection of investments in Tallinn on April 7.

Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy Chingiz Asadullayev said, presenting the document, the agreement regulates the issues of preservation of investments.

“The agreement also creates conditions for investors and investments,”  C. Asadullayev said.

“The agreement regards individuals and legal entities. It concerns  investments: movable and real property,  mortgage, leasing, pledge and other rights; the companies and/or stakes  in them, shares and/or participation in companies; corporate bonds and/or other forms of debt; money, money resources or cost of contracts; patents, copyrights, technical processes, trade marks, industrial models, names of firms (brands), know-how and goodwill; natural resources, extracting works and exploitation concessions.
