OREANDA-NEWS. June 11, 2010. Profile magazine analyzed the dynamics of the Russian Federation’s banking system in the first quarter of 2010 and ranked 200 biggest Russian banks on the basis of figures it came to using its own techniques, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

In the magazine’s estimates, Sviaz-Bank placed 20th among the most profitable banks as of April1, 2010, with its operating profit of 964.8 million rubles.

According to the magazine’s rankings, Sviaz-Bank was 20th in assets and 26th among 200 biggest Russian banks in the size of their equity capital as of April 1, 2010, with its net worth of 24.1 billion rubles.

Sviaz-Bank places 24th in the magazine’s rankings of banks that have issued the larges amount of loans to private companies (as of April 1, 2010), with 63.2 billion rubles out on loan to non-state enterprises.

Profile magazine arrived at its rankings using its own techniques and its results may differ from the Bank’s own official figures computed by the techniques used by the Bank of Russia.
