OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2010. With the purpose of protecting the interests of depositors and creditors, and maintaining the stability and reliability of the banking system, the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic made a decision to terminate the regime of Interim Management, and to introduce the regime of Temporary Closing (Conservation) in the OJSC AsiaUniversalBank, reported the press-centre of AsiaUniversalBank.

Mr. Erik Dzhandyralievich Usubaliev has been appointed as an administrator of the temporary closing (conservation) of OJSC AsiaUniversalBank. The duties of an administrator of the temporary closing (conservation) include: taking measures for preventing deterioration of financial situation of the bank, ensuring the safety of assets and documents of the bank; taking necessary measures to improve the solvency of the bank in the presence of real possibilities and intentions of the shareholders to improve the bank's financial situation.

The Bank continues its activities under the guidance of the administrator of the temporary closing (conservation) of the Bank and under the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Bank's customers can perform the following transactions according to Resolution of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 42/1 of June 6, 2010.

Legal persons (budget and non-budget organizations), as before, can perform the following transactions:

transfer and disbursement of funds to pay salaries to employees of a legal entity with no limits on the amount (for non-budgetary organizations - a total amount shall not exceed the average monthly wage fund to be confirmed by the State Tax Service);

draw-down and transfer of funds from current accounts to cover own liabilities to the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, utilities, telecommunications operators, and suppliers of petroleum products;

AsiaUniversalBank performes transactions with natural persons in full scope, except for transactions on the accounts of affiliated persons and entities specified in enactments of the bodies of public prosecutions.

AsiaUniversalBank continues to fulfill its obligations to customers, and guarantees the safety of customer deposits.
