OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2010. The BCSE informs about the foreign currency trade totals in May 2010.

In May 2010, the transaction turnover amounted to BYR 2 947.18 billion (BYR 4 505.59 billion in April 2010). The trade volume decreased 34.6% compared to April 2010.

USD 465.84 million, RUB 7 405.42 million, EUR 219.29 million and other currency amounting to BYR 6 289.99 million in equivalent were sold at the trades in May 2010.

The unit weight of foreign currency in the trade volume in May 2010 was USD – 47.2%, RUR – 24.7%, EUR – 27.9%, and other currencies – 0.2%.

Average daily transaction volume amounted to USD 24.52 million, RUB 389.76 million and EUR 12.18 million.

April quotations changed as follows: USD + 37.00 points, RUB - 3.98 points, EUR - 244.00 points.
