OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2010. Swedbank’s Baltic Banking Chief Financial Officer Kristina Siimar will resign from this position from 30 June 2010. Kristina will take up a new position as the Head of Efficiency Program in Group CFO Office starting 1 September 2010, located in Stockholm, reported the press-centre of Swedbank.

Toms Silins, CFO Swedbank Latvia, will be appointed to the position of CFO Baltic Banking from 1 July 2010 and he will be the member of Baltic Banking management group. New CFO of Swedbank Latvia is from 1 July 2010 Ansis Grasmanis, current Head of Credit Management in Latvia.
 
Kristina Siimar is working in Swedbank since 1994, from 2001 till now as a Baltic Banking CFO. She is looking at her career development as follows: " These have been most interesting times for me, times full of changes both in economy and for Swedbank. I have  now been through one full economic cycle, seen both ups and downs and this has been very valuable experience in my life.  I have now decided to take some time off, in order to start fresh with new challenges in Swedbank Group in September. My mind is at piece as I leaving a very professional team for my successor to work with."

Commenting on Kristina’s career change, Hakan Berg, Head of Baltic Banking, said:“ This is a new and wider challenge for Kristina and I am sure she will enjoy it. I would like to thank Kristina for her committed and long-lasting work for Baltic Banking.“

Hakan Berg has chosen the most experienced person from inside the organisation for this position, considering Tom’s long-term and excellent career as CFO Swedbank Latvia previously.

Hakan Berg said: “ I welcome Toms to my team as the new CFO and I am confident that we will receive a very experienced and competent addition to the Baltic Banking management. I am wishing Kristina, Toms, Ansis all the success in their respective new positions.“
