OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2010. UTair Aviation continues to demonstrate the growth in KPI figures. In the five month period from January to May, UTair carried a total of 1,664,144 passengers, a 51.3% increase over the same period for 2009. The airline’s aircraft logged a total of 66,482 flight hours over the same period, 39.3% more than for January-May 2009.

Other UTair KPIs for the January – May period have shown impressive growth - passenger turnover has totaled 2,780,233.9 PKM, a 61.6 % increase over January-May 2009. UTair aircraft also transported 4,928.5 tons of cargo, 49.5% more than in 2009. The volume of mail transported by fixed wing aircraft reached 1,379.3 tons, or 2.7 times the amount in January-May in 2009.

UTair’s rotary wing aircraft logged 28,540 flight hours in January-May 2009, a 11.3% increase from 2009. During the reporting period UTair helicopters transported more than 13,747 tons of cargo or 8.3% more than last year and carried a total of 155,455 passengers, 46% more than in January-May 2009.
