OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2010. COMSTAR – United TeleSystems (JSC COMSTAR-UTS, LSE: CMST), the leading supplier of integrated telecommunication solutions in Russia and the CIS, announces that Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (MTS – NYSE: MBT), the leading telecom operator in Russia and CIS countries, and MGTS, one of the largest European operators of fixed communication, have launched the convergent service titled "Single Bill" in Moscow. This service will allow subscribers to pay for MTS mobile communication services using a single bill from MGTS.

Subscribers using both mobile* and fixed communication offered by the MTS Group of companies may enjoy benefits of this new offer. These subscribers may file an application for inclusion of their and their family members' mobile charges into the MGTS Single Bill** in any of MGTS customer service centers.

A subscriber who has enabled the "Single Bill" service gets a possibility to postpone payment for telecom services provided to the next month.

This Single Bill may be paid using all possible means offered by MGTS: in bank branches, post offices, MTS stores and MGTS customer service centers, using "МТС-PAY" mobile service, various payment terminals and Internet systems.

MTS subscribers still have a possibility to pay for mobile communication services separately from a single bill using any means provided by MTS operator.

"MGTS Single Bill is a unique opportunity to make credit payments for various services offered to Moscow dwellers. Inclusion of charges for Comstar-UTS intercity communication and Internet by MGTS services into the Single Bill has triggered considerate interest of subscribers in these services. Hundreds of thousands Moscow dwellers have already enjoyed simplicity and convenience of this payment method, when no communication services are disabled in case the money runs out. Besides, there is no need to keep in mind that one has to drop in a telecom center to pay for communication services on one's way back from work. Single Bill has turned out to be a very popular service in such a bustling megacity as Moscow, and we predict its increased popularity among subscribers of MTS", – said Sergey Nazarov, MGTS Director General.

"The new convergent service “Single Bill” will become a very important milestone in the course of integration of companies of the MTS Group. Besides, our clients will now be able to make easy and convenient credit payments for all types of communication services included into a single bill", – noted Konstantin Markov, Director of MTS Moscow.

Subscribers of MTS and MGTS may enable the "Single Bill" service free of charge. No subscription fee is charged for the service.
