OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2010. The German state of Baden-Wurttemberg has chosen Estonia as one of its six main partners for economic cooperation, the Estonian Foreign Ministry said.

Estonia's Foreign Minister Urmas Paet in a meeting with members of Baden-Wurttemberg's business community hailed the decision by the German state's foreign trade organization.

Baden-Wurttemberg is a German state where the Baltic Sea and Danube strategies of the European Union meet. The Estonian minister said the Baltic Sea strategy was a good example for the emergence of new EU cross-border strategies.
