OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2010. AMT BANK made a planned repayment under its obligations to the Bank of Russia, which arose from unsecured auctions. Payment of funds was made on June 4 and 9, 2010 in two tranches. The aggregate amount of funds paid by AMT BANK in favour of the Bank of Russia was RUB 300 mln plus the amount of accrued interest (about RUB 71 mln). Repayment of the amount outstanding was made two weeks ahead of the schedule, reported the press-centre of AMT BANK.

- This is not the first time when the Bank made an ahead-of-time tranche repayment. During several months the Bank is repaying its indebtedness ahead of time. This is caused by that the Bank seeks to repay the remaining part of the loan, - says Konstantin Vorobyov, Executive Director at AMT BANK.

The repayment of the part of the loan was made through the receipts from the loan portfolio of AMT BANK. As of June 10, 2010 the amount outstanding totals RUB 9.4 bln.
