OREANDA-NEWS. June 23, 2010. The Ust-Ilimsk Branch of Ilim Group started filing electronic declarations using the Internet. The new declaration format was introduced as part of the Russian Government's Electronic Russia task project, which is expected to be completed by 2012.

The new system presents significant benefits for the manufacturer: after having converted to e-declaration, it is possible to track the issuance of the declaration on a real time basis, while the program monitors who exactly files and sends it. The most obvious advantage, however, is that it takes much less time to file the e-declaration as opposed to the hard copy.

The Ust-Ilimsk Branch of Ilim Group was the third Company's mill to implement the electronic declaration system. In 2009, electronic customs declaration of export cargo was introduced at the Koryazhma Branch of Ilim Group in the Arkhangelsk Oblast. The Bratsk Branch of Ilim Group followed suit in March 2010.
