OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2010. A press conference dedicated to the performance and development plans of Ingosstrakh in the Siberian Federal District (SFD) and to the insurance market development trends in the SFD in 2010 was held in the press-center of the Kemerovo Region Government.

The participants of the press conference were: the head of the directorate for securities and insurance market of the Kemerovo Region Administration Nelli Malyutina, the director of Ingosstrakh’s Siberian Regional Center Viktor Silachev, the director of Ingosstrakh’s Kemerovo branch Vadim Sitnikov, the head of the financial institute insurance unit of Ingosstrakh's Corporate Business Department Aleksey Kudrin.

During the press conference issues related to development of the Kemerovo region financial sector were discussed, in particular issues concerning the insurance market of Siberia and the Kemerovo Region. The insurance company’s performance in 2009 and Q1 of 2010 in the Siberian Federal District and in the Kemerovo Region were presented, Ingosstrakh’s work in the region was evaluated by the Administration of the region and the Company’s development plans in the SFD for 2010 were introduced. 

"As for our plans, we aim at improving our financial performance: this is our main goal for 2010 – stated the director of the Ingosstrakh’s Siberian Regional Center Viktor Silachev.  - Another priority for us is to keep our market share. As in the past, Ingosstrakh will focus on high-quality client service. Another important issue is ensuring correct claim handling. To enhance the service, we plan to analyze and increase the efficiency of offices and points of sale across the whole of Siberia".

"Ingosstrakh’s Kemerovo branch has been showing a positive trend in 2010 – said Vadim Sitnikov, director of Ingosstrakh’s Kemerovo branch. - In the first quarter the company’s market share was 7.7%; the company placed third in the regional rating of insurers. In such an important segment as the property insurance market, which is the most interesting for insurance companies, Ingosstrakh's share was 22.6%, the first place in the regional rating of insurers”.
