OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2010. The Moscow Region Governor’s Show-Jumping Cup was held on June 18-20, in the Moscow Region sports complex Otrada. This year the competition had the status of a stage of the prestigious FEI World Cup series. Ingosstrakh Exclusive is Ingosstrakh new business line which provides clients with insurance services of the premium price segment.

The competition was organized under the auspices of the Russian Equestrian Federation and the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI). Its program included six show-jumping competitions, the height of the obstacles was from 130 to 145 cm. The prize fund of the event amounts to 50,000 Swiss francs.

Currently the company’s total limit of liability to the jumpers owners amounts to more than 50 mln rubles.

On June 20, during the Grand Prix, the Moscow Region Governor’s Show-Jumping Cup was awarded. The best athletes from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Baltic counties and far-abroad countries participated in the competitions. Lithuanian athlete Benas Gutkauskas won the Grand Prix.

In addition to the breathtaking competition, the guests were able to see an exhibition of Alexander Zakharov, a Russian painter living in Germany, renowned among Western collectors. The funds raised form the sale of the works will be given to the foundation ‘Preodolenie’, which supports people with disabilities. The cultural project is part of the city ‘Equal Possibilities’ program and was implemented under the auspices of Ingosstrakh Exclusive, partner of Otrada.

During its over 60 years of history, Ingosstrakh several times insured jumpers going abroad to participate in international competitions. Once the company insured stallion Aniline that, ridden by the distinguished jockey Nikolay Nasibov, won the European Cup for three times.
