OREANDA-NEWS. June 28, 2010. 44 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The businessmen from the UK, Iran and Afghanistan bought gasoline and liquefied gas produced at the Turkmenbashy oil refineries. Stove gasoline produced at Seydi oil refinery was the choice of the buyers from the Virgin Islands. The businessmen from Russia, the United States, the UAE and Uzbekistan bought carbon black and technical iodine (Turkmenhimiya State Concern). The transactions in the foreign currency were concluded for ginned cotton, cotton yarn, knitwear and bed linen, cattle skin, gray cloth and yarn, cotton waste, jeans cloth and articles. The buyer-countries: Russia, UAE, Switzerland, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar, the Marshall Islands. The transactions concluded in the foreign currency totalled over USD 46.576 million.

The transactions concluded in deposit mantas totalled over 6.106 million manats. The businessmen from the UK, Turkey, Azerbaijan and the Virgin Islands bought refined cottonseed oil, from Kazakhstan - washed wool and dyed terry goods, from India, Belize, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates – cattle skin, from Turkey - gray yarn and cotton waste and gray cloth, from Switzerland - equipment and spare parts. The businessmen from Azerbaijan bought flannel.
