OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2010. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin at the Ukrainian-Russian talks in Moscow has called cooperation in aerospace industry to be inevitable.

According to him, during the talks special attention was paid to discussing ways of cooperation in the aircraft and space industries.

Merger of Ukrainian and Russian enterprises on a mutually beneficial cooperative basis Volodymyr Putin believes to be inevitable, because "global market leaders are TNCs and there's no room for smaller companies on global markets".

In turn, Mykola Azarov emphasized the importance of cooperation in high-tech industries: "Separately nobody needs us, and nobody is going to share with us high technologies. So our perspective consists in searching the forms of merger of Ukrainian and Russian opportunities".
