OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2010. UTair Aviation affiliate UTair Ukraine Aviation has expanded its fleet with the addition of a newly acquired Boeing 737-400 aircraft. The aircraft made its first commercial flight for the airline from Boryspil International Airport in Kiev on the Antalya-Kiev route.

Utair Ukraine's Boeing 737-400 can carry 168 passengers in economy class and has a range of 3000 km with a cruising speed of 800 km/h. During the summer schedule the comfortable, modern jetliner will be used on charter flights to Turkey and Egypt and on new popular destinations as the airlines international route network grows.

UTair-Ukraine’s development strategy is focused on the modernization of its fleet and expanding its route network for the extension of service range and increased passenger volumes.

UTair affiliate airline UTair Ukraine was founded in September 2008. The airline received its Ukrainian Civil Aviation Operations Certificate in 2009. Regularly scheduled and charter flights to international destinations in countries of the near and far-abroad are made on ATR 42 and Boeing 737-400 aircraft. UTair Ukraine maintains international hubs at the Lugansk International Airport and the Boryspil International Airport in Kiev.
