OREANDA-NEWS. July 01, 2010. A motor rally was held by Volvo in the Sothern Urals. The rally was given a poetic name after a well-known Russian fairy tale: "Along the pathways of Ural fairy tails: visiting the Mistress of the Copper Mountain". The key goal of the rally was a comparative test drive between new powerful Volvo engines: one diesel engine (D5 TWIN Turbo) and two petrol engines (V8 and T5), reported the press-centre of Nordea Bank.

The rally included promotion actions for the press. On its part Nordea Bank provided prizes for the "Gold Finder" contest game, the winners of which got certificates for free Visa Gold / Mastercard Gold cards issued by Nordea Bank with one year of free service.

Mr. Andrei Maltsev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Nordea Bank, Moscow, points out that such joint efforts are well-timed and relevant: "At present Nordea Bank, Moscow, is boosting its auto lending program and premium class cars, including Volvo cars, are in good demand from our customers".

Alexei Kozhoukhov, PR director of the Russian based Volvo Cars OOO, is sure that "joint business efforts of such famous Scandinavian brands as Volvo and Nordea are in the interests of the two companies and those customers who pay special attention to reliability which is a brand mark of Scandinavia".
