OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2010. An increase in all monetary aggregates was observed in May 2010:  M1 narrow monetary aggregate grew by LTL 665.6 million, M2 intermediate monetary aggregate went up by LTL 293.4 million, and M3 broad monetary aggregate increased by LTL 247.9 million, reported the press-centre of Bank of Lithuania.

Net external assets of other monetary financial institutions (MFIs, i.e. external assets minus external liabilities) grew over the month by LTL 425.2 million. Other MFIs’ lending to residents, excluding MFIs, declined in May by LTL 180.9 million, while euro denominated lending accounted at the end of the month for 69.5% of total loans.
