OREANDA-NEWS. July 05, 2010. Siauliu bankas together with Siauliai City Municipality, Siauliai Industrialists’ Association, and Siauliai Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts awarded to the authors of the best projects of the contest “For the best project to Siauliai city and business” with two incentive premiums, reported the press-centre of Siauliu Bankas.

This year during the contest, which is organized since 2005, a commission selected two best ideas of students. The incentive premiums were granted to Martynas Jocas, the student of the fourth course of business administration (Siauliai University) for the project „Amateurs races of self-made transport vehicles“ and Daiva Cesaityte, Simona Sakalaite, Judita Svidrute and Agne Urbutyte, the students of the third course of business administration (Siauliai University) for the project „Creation and equipment of new exposition adapted to weak-sighted and blind persons in Siauliai Ausros museum“. These four young ladies will use the won premium for the implementation of this idea; therefore, the project for weak-sighted and blind persons will be implemented in the nearest time. The exposition will be organized in Ch. Frenkelis cellar, the exhibit items of which will be possible to touch, smell and hear.

This year 30 students submitted their applications to participate in the contest “For the best project to Siauliai city and business”; in 2009 - 11 applications and in 2008 -13 applications.
