OREANDA-NEWS. July 06, 2010. ARMADA (MICEX, RTS: ARMD) announces that its quality management system has passed the annual DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 audit in the area of the management of IT assets constituting the ARMADA group of companies, as well as in design, development and implementation of IT solutions.

ISO certification of quality management systems has been the generally accepted confirmation of consistency of the quality worldwide for several decades now. ISO certification indicates that a company strictly complies with and meets the requirements set forth by international standards. For consumers, an ISO certificate serves as the valuable selection criterion when they are choosing a particular organization, and also a guarantee of the quality of its services. The practices of certification of the subsidiary management process — one of the key management processes at the ARMADA group of companies — are unique for Russia.

The business process quality has been audited by the Germany-based TUV Thuringen which offers services on all matters related to security and quality. TUV Thuringen certifies the compliance of enterprises and organizations with the inter-industry management system as well as specific standards designed for a particular industry or enterprise.

The certificate is valid for a period of three years, and can be further extended. During the certificate validity period, TUV Thuringen will conduct annual audits to confirm the system’s compliance with the standard requirements.
