OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2010. The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Government has announced the results of an open tender for provision of obligatory medical insurance services to the Nizhny Novgorod Region’s unemployed residents until the end of 2012. This tender has been won by ROSNO-MS, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

In accordance with the contract concluded as a result of its victory, OJSC ROSNO-MS will be providing insurance protection for 2.5 years to over 829 thousand unemployed residents of Nizhny Novgorod and 36 municipal districts (city okrugs) of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The insurer’s employees will control volumes and quality of the medical insurance coverage, explain the insurants’ rights in the obligatory medical insurance system, and track sickness rate among insurants in order to furnish the regional government with recommendations regarding prevention of the most widespread diseases.

In total, 5 insurers participated in the tender.

ROSNO-MS has been insuring unemployed residents of the Nizhny Novgorod Region for many years, maintaining its status as one of the largest insurance companies in terms of the quantity of insurants — the company’s insured area, including employed residents, exceeds 1,300 thousand people.
