Earlier the fuel price in JSC Airport Tolmachevo worked out at 17 881 rubles 36 kopeks (21 100 rubles including VAT) per ton or 680 USD for foreign air carriers.

As a result the fuel price in the International Tolmachevo Airport was lowered by an average of 2 per cent. This price is still going to be one of the lowest prices in Russian Federation. Previous fuel price cutting was conducted in Tolmachevo airport a year ago, in June 2009.

“We are interested in creating favorable conditions for air carriers. We pay great attention to the tariff policy,” said General Director Alexander Borodin.

In May 2010 under the scheme of the new air carrier acquisition and performance optimization towards existing air carriers JSC Airport Tolmachevo has initiated a cut in prices for ground handling from 3 to 5 per cent for both Russian and foreign airlines.

It must be emphasized that the work on tariff policy optimization will be conducted from now onwards. It is expected that the possibility of tariff reduction for some services will be found throughout 2010 year. Also in first six months of 2010 the rewards program for airlines will be put in force. This program is designed for support and promotion of new regular flights for both direct and transit fights.
