OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2010. In June, 2010 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 47 th. passengers, that is by 12% more compare with the similar period of 2009, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on direction Chisinau-Bucharest (+230%), Chisinau-Milano (+65%), Chisinau-Istanbul (+15%), Chisinau-Sankt-Petersburg (+13%), Chisinau-Moscow (+12%).

Over 1200 persons used the flights Air Moldova from Moscow and St.-Petersburg to Europe by stopping over in the Chisinau International Airport that becomes a transit airport. In January-june 2010 there were transported 3900 of this type of passengers.

Air Moldova airline flies direct to 18 destinations - Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Moscow, St.Petersburg, Varna, Munchen, Kiev, offering to its passengers two Class of service - Business and Economy.
Air Moldova is the biggest Moldovian airline and it has more than 50% of air transportations registered on the national market.

From 10th of Mai, Air Moldova fleet was increased by a brand new aircraft Embraer 190 that arrived on base airport in Chisinau directly from manufacturer. The aircraft was named "Stefan cel Mare" during inauguration ceremony.
