OREANDA-NEWS. July 23, 2010. Belarus’ beer output increased 7.7% on the year in January-June 2010 to 17.869 million decaliters, a representative in the concern Belgospischeprom told.

In June, beer production rose 30.7% on the year to 4.049 million decaliters.

OAO Krinitsa, based in Minsk, cut beer production 8.1% to 6.684 million decaliters.

OAO Olivaria, based in the city of Minsk, produced 3.25 million decaliters of beer in January-June, an increase of 6.7% on the year.

Syabar brewery, based in Bobruisk, in the Mogilev Region, produced 3.457million decaliters of beer in the period, up 75.9% on the year.

OAO Lidskoe Pivo (Lida Beer), in the Grodno Region, increased beer output 10.8% to 2.581 million decaliters.

OAO Brest Beer produced 1.313 million decaliters of beer, up 3.9%.

OAO Rechitsapivo, located in the Gomel Region, produced 440,000 decaliters of beer in the period, down 17%.

Beer output in plastic bottles went up 9.3% to 13.877 million decaliters, in glass bottles fell 2.8% to 2.79 million decaliters, in kegs increased 32.4% to 1.064 million decaliters and in cans fell 40.7% to 138,000 decaliters.

Belarusian beer supplies to domestic wholesalers and retailers increased 1.7% on the year in January-June to 15.381 million decaliters.

Krinitsa sales went down 18% to 5.197 million decaliters, Olivaria sales went up 7.4% to 3.161 million decaliters, Lidskoe pivo sales increased 10.6% to 2.321 million decaliters, and sales of Brest Beer fell 10.6%, of Syabar increased 61.4% and of Rechitsapivo dropped 12.4%.
