OREANDA-NEWS. July 23, 2010. Belarus’ imports of grape wine decreased 22.7% in January-May 2010 compared to the first five months of 2009 to 1.39 million decaliters, according to preliminary customs statistics.

Imports from Moldova amounted to 1.109 million decaliters, down 29.2%, worth USD 10.227 million, down 39.2% in monetary terms. Imports from Ukraine went up 73.5% to 134,137 decaliters to the amount of USD 1.05 million, up 28.1%, from Spain doubled to 36,500 decaliters, worth USD 449,200, up 1.4%. Imports from Georgia rose 47.7% to 32,413 decaliters to the amount of USD 1.111 million, up 17.8%.
