OREANDA-NEWS. July 27, 2010. ATIC SERVICES, Paris, France, has delivered the most competitive tender offer for buying the MBTG shares. The Managing Board of the Port of Gdynia Authority SA awarded this bidder exclusive rights to proceed with due diligence in the final privatisation procedure. 

The MBTG is a subsidy of the Port of Gdynia Authority SA. The basic scope of the MBTG activity is stevedoring and storage services,both loose and big-bags operations of bulk materials,like coal and coke, corn and fodder, ores, other dry and liquid bulk materials, including chemicals, petroleum and hydrocarbon products. For many years the MBTG performs very good operational and financial results.

The privatisation procedure started in January 2010. Nine entities responded to the press announcement on the purchase of 100 percent of MBTG shares:

At the present stage of the privatisation process ATIC Services, apart from the auditing of the company, will enter into the negotiations on the social package with trade unions acting within the MBTG. The privatisation process should be completed at the beginning of 2011.
