OREANDA-NEWS. July 27, 2010. Ukraine’s overall balance of payments surplus expanded 2.8-times m-o-m in June to USD 2.8 bln, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.

Concorde Capital: in 1H10, the balance of payments continued to run a double surplus of USD 0.5 bln for the current account and USD 4 bln for the financial account vs. a double deficit of USD 0.8 bln and USD 6.4 bln, respectively in 1H09. We expect the BoP to post a double surplus for 2010 as well: +0.8% of GDP for the current account (-1.6% in 2009) and +2.6% of GDP for the financial account (-10.2% in 2009).
