OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2010. Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies – Syabar, in the Mogilev Region, and Rechitsapivo, in the Gomel Region – registered a 56.2% increase in output in January-June 2010 from previous January-June to 3.897 million decaliters, Belarus’ food concern Belgospischeprom said in a statement.

Syabar’s output rose 75.9% on the year to 3.457 million decaliters, while Rechitsapivo’s output decreased 17% to 440,000 decaliters because of a large-scale reconstruction. Most of Rechitsapivo brands are now produced using Syabar’s facilities.

In June, the two breweries’ beer production increased 96.4% on the year to 876,000 decaliters. Syabar’s output rose 130% on June 2009 to 787,000 decaliters, and Rechitsavipo produced 89,000 decaliters of beer, down 10.1%.

Syabar made 2.672 million decaliters of beer in plastic bottles in January-June, up 75.3%, and 763,000 decaliters in glass bottles, up 75.8%. Beer output in kegs reached 22,000 decaliters.

Rechitsapivo produced 375,000 decaliters of beer in plastic bottles in January-June 2010, up 1.1%, and 10,000 decaliters in glass bottles, down 88.1%. Beer offering in kegs fell 21.5% to 73,000 decaliters.

The two breweries delivered 3.53 million decaliters of beer to the retail network in January-June 2010, up 47.5% on the year.

Exports by Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies hiked 300% on the year in January-June to 182,400 decaliters, 154,900 decaliters by Syabar, up 17.2 times, and 27,500 decaliters by Rechitsapivo, down 24.4%.
