OREANDA-NEWS. August 2, 2010. A delegation from Holland visited the Federation Tower. The team included representatives of the City Council of Amsterdam and experts on planning, development and construction of large city projects.

One of the main goals of their trip to Moscow was to get to know the MIBC "Moscow City" project and the Federation Tower in particular. During the tour of the tower, various issues were raised relating not only to the uniqueness of the project, but also to the construction in Moscow on the whole and the outlook for the city's development.

The members of the Dutch delegation also shared their own experience and talked about a City project in Amsterdam – the Zuidas Business Center. It is a large quickly developing business district, well known as the Financial Mile, that includes banks, investment companies and trade centers.

"The initial purpose of the project was to create an office zone, but now step by step educational institutions, trade, recreational and sports facilities are appearing there. Certainly, the world financial crisis affected Zuidas as well – now the construction of new projects has been suspended. But we believe that soon we will find investments and complete the project, said Daiva Sumbraite who represented the Department of Urban Development of the City Council of Amsterdam.

At the end, when the guests were leaving, they shared their impressions and noted that they had learned much interesting, and wished success to the MIRAX GROUP's staff in accomplishing the Federation Tower project, unique for Russia and Europe.
