OREANDA-NEWS. August 09, 2010. National airline of Uzbekistan signed a contract with Airbus Consortium in 2007 for ten A320. According to the contract five more A320 will arrive to Tashkent till the end of 2010 and four more aircraft will be delivered in 2011.New A320 will fully replace outdated Eastern-made aircraft on domestic and international routes, reported the press-centre of Uzbekistan Airways.
 
Today Uzbekistan Airways operates Boeing-757/767, А320, RJ85 and local manufactured IL-114-100.

The airline plans to operate middle-destination A320 both domestically and on the routes to CIS and other foreign cities such as Astana, Baku, Delhi, Kazan, Lahore and Moscow.
