On Friday, Aug 6, the Ukrainian equities continued the loses again with the UX index declining by 0.88%, or 18.59 ppt, to 2,101.73 ppt. Total equity turnover was at UAH 74.0mn. Most sectors closed in the red except ore producers that outperformed the market. PGOK skyrocketed by 13.69% on UAH 4.2mn. The stock played out very strong 2Q2010 financial report of the Ferrexpo, the PGOK’s parent company. SGOK had also high gain adding 7.12% on UAH 2.3mn. STIR continued to be the index’s heavyweight rising by 4.17% on day’s maximum turnover of UAH 10.6mn. The other two top traded stocks were UNAF and AVDK posting UAH 9.7mn and UAH 7.8mn respectively. Both stokes were dominated by sellers declining by 0.92% and 0.88%. Among liquid names ENMZ happened to be the worst stock for the day going down 2.59% on UAH 6.1mn.
