OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2010. The "State Commission of the Russian Federation for Testing and Protecting Selection Achievements" (Gossortcommissia) Federal State Institution informed the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) that it had executed the determination on eliminating antimonopoly violations. The State Commission unlawfully charged market participants for registration in the State Register of Selection Achievements Eligible for Use, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

After FAS Russia issued a determination requesting the State Commission to stop violating Article 15 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" (which prohibits competition-restricting actions of the authorities), the State Commission passed the Order "On Introducing Amendments to Some Normative Acts".

On its home page ( in the "news" item), the State Commission also placed information that all actions of the State Commission related to the State Register of Selection Achievements Eligible for Use are free of charge.
