OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2010. The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Andriy Klyuev and Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine Kostyantyn Efymenko visited construction sites of new terminals "F" and "D" of the International airport "Borispol" involved in the preparations of Ukraine for Euro 2012.

Today the complete funding of the terminal "F" building is fully restored: daily about 300 people are working on the facility to complete all works as quickly as possible.

"I specifically came to inspect the progress of work - Andriy Klyuyev said. - I think that till the Independence Day the terminal will start its operations. "

Inside the terminal the registration desks are mounted, air conditioning and ventilation systems are installed, all the necessary network are applied, installation of equipment, systems for baggage handling and facade work are completed. The registration system is under testing. Works on the terminal interior furnishing, installation of engineering systems are undergoing.

Additionally, the area around the terminal is under construction, including square designed for approximately 340 parking places.

"The terminal was built entirely in accordance with European standards" - Andriy Klyuyev said.
At the construction site of the future main terminal "D" of the airport, which will be put into operation tentatively late next year, columns and walls of the third floor in the passenger gallery are completed. Also the basement of walls and columns of the first floor is performed (75% of work is done) and works on the underlying structure to build the apron continues.

The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev assured that the Government of Ukraine will exert every effort to ensure that all construction works at both terminals would be completed on time, defined by UEFA terms, so the main air gateway to the country could adequately admit fans during the championship. Further it will promote the positive image of Ukraine in the world by providing high quality, modern services and comfort for passengers.

In addition, Andriy Klyuev inspected the Darnitsa bridge construction, and construction works on the Kiev railway station.
