OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2010. The possibilities of air crashes prevention with the help of the latest medical developments will be discussed during the business program of the International Salon of Civil Aviation and Aeronautics “InterAeroCom. St. Petersburg 2010”,  which takes place in “Lenexpo” exhibition complex on August 12-15, 2010.

Participants of the Round table “Medicine for Aviation”, scheduled on August 13, will be demonstrated at computer system "ERGaton-2000, created to perform pilots’ express health check in small and private aviation.

Method of Auricular diagnostics is based on the scrutinizing of the particular parts of human ear, referred to different inner organs and systems. This rapid and painless method provides excessive information about the negative processes, currently going on in the body, especially at early stages of disease, which may prevent possible air crash, caused by pilot’s health problems.

The simplicity of this procedure enables specialist to perform a complex body check outside any special medical establishment within 5 minutes. This is one of the most progressive methods, which is able to determine the problem spot and sometimes even illness character with 87-94% of accuracy along with other methods.

This computer complex of auricular diagnostics can be productively used at small air fields for private and small aviation; it will provide health analyses before the flight to prevent possible crashes and catastrophes, caused by the unexpected attack of disease during the flight.

Moreover, there will be introduced other interesting and important developments for aviation. Such as a removable complex for cardio diagnostics, equipped with a telemetric channel, which will help to give a prognoses in case of a heart attack and make decision about the possibility to continue the flight. A similar diagnostic system is currently being developed for the “Olympics 2014” to monitor sportsmen health during the training process.
