OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2010.   53 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The transactions concluded in the foreign currency totalled over USD 104.896 million. The businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Gibraltar bought base oil, gasoline, aviation kerosene and liquefied gas produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries. The buyers from the UAE, the United Kingdom and Afghanistan concluded the transactions for diesel fuel produced at Seydi oil refinery. Also, the contracts in the foreign currency were concluded for ginned cotton, washed wool, greige yarn and cotton yarn, gray cloth and dyed cloth. The buyer countries are Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Russia, the Virgin Islands, Singapore, Lichtenstein, Belgium, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.

The transactions in deposit manats were concluded by the businessmen from China, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, UAE, India, Ukraine, the Virgin Islands and Seychelles for cotton yarn, the buyers from Turkey for cotton flake and cake, the buyers from India for gray cloth, the buyers from Kyrgyzstan for dyed terry towels. The transactions totalled over 6.805 million manats.
