OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2010. Belarus’ internal debt decreased 0.9% on the month in June to 8.321 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of July 1, 2010, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry told.

Belarus’ internal debt rose 1.3% in the first six months in real terms (adjusted for inflation).

Internal debt increased by 434 billion rubles in January-June 2010, or 0.6% of GDP, the official said.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 26.1%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 73.9%.
